Congratulations on purchasing the Samsung Galaxy S20, or the Galaxy S20+ Plus, your new flagship smartphone. You might be curious to learn how to set-up the Galaxy S20 first time. It is important to be familiar with the following things when setting up a Galaxy S20+ Plus phone.
When you first turn on your Galaxy S20, it will prompt you to setup it. On-device setup is available to set up your screen lock, choose your Internet provider, sign in and sign out to your accounts.
How to Set up Galaxy S20 Newly Redesigned:
- Choose Get content form an old phone if you have content you want to transfer from an Android or another phone.
- Restore from the Galaxy Backup can be used if you’ve got a phone backup.
The Galaxy S20 can be backed up faster if you wish to restore content from another Samsung smartphone. To help you with this process, select Backup phone daily in the future.
Note that the Galaxy S20 requires an Internet connection in order to use certain features. Extra data fees may apply to location-based services or auto-sync of online accounts. Disable these features from Settings to avoid paying data charges
