Where To Stay In Vietnam

I’m planning a trip to Vietnam and I’m looking for advice on where to stay. I’m looking for a place that has a good balance of affordability, comfort and convenience. I’m also looking for a place that has a good selection of restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby. I’m open to staying in a hotel, hostel, or Airbnb, but I’m not sure what would be best. Any suggestions on where to stay would be greatly appreciated!
