Where To Stay In Amman

I am planning a trip to Amman and I am looking for advice on where to stay. I am looking for a place that is safe, comfortable, and close to attractions. I would like to stay somewhere that is within walking distance of restaurants and shops, and that is accessible to public transportation. I would also like to find a place that is reasonably priced. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
