When Is The Best Time To Visit Machu Picchu

I’m planning a trip to Machu Picchu and I’m trying to figure out the best time to visit. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with this and can provide some insight. I’m looking for a time when the weather is pleasant and the crowds are not overwhelming. I’m also interested in seeing the sunrise and sunset, so I’m hoping to find a time when I can do that. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  1. The best time to visit Machu Picchu is during the dry season, which runs from May to October. During this time, the weather is more predictable and the chances of rain are much lower. The days are also much warmer and the nights are cooler. The months of June and July are the busiest months, so if you want to avoid the crowds, it is best to visit during the shoulder months of May and October.
