What To Wear To A Visitation In The Summer

I’m attending a visitation in the summer and I’m not sure what to wear. I’m looking for something that is appropriate but also comfortable since it will likely be hot. I’m thinking of wearing a light-colored dress or skirt with a nice top, but I’m not sure if that is too dressy. I’m also considering wearing a pair of dress pants and a nice top, but I’m not sure if that is too casual. I’d like to hear what other people think I should wear and what they would recommend.
