When it’s 40-50 degrees outside, I make sure to wear the right clothes to keep me warm and comfortable. I start with a lightweight, long-sleeve shirt and a pair of running tights. I also wear a lightweight jacket or vest over my shirt to provide extra warmth. I usually opt for a pair of gloves and a hat to keep my head and hands warm. I also wear a pair of running shoes with a good grip to keep me from slipping on wet surfaces. On particularly cold days, I might add a neck gaiter or a light buff to my outfit. I always make sure to dress in layers so that I can adjust my outfit as needed while I’m running. With the right clothes, I can stay warm and comfortable while I’m running, no matter what the temperature is outside.
