I’m thinking I should bring layers of clothing since the temperatures can vary so much. I’m also wondering what type of shoes I should bring. I’m looking for advice on what type of shoes will be comfortable for walking and hiking, but also warm enough for the cold temperatures. I’m also wondering if I should bring a raincoat or a waterproof jacket. Any advice would be appreciated!

I had been looking forward to my Alaskan cruise for months. I knew I had to plan my wardrobe carefully, as the weather in July in Alaska can be quite unpredictable. I wanted to make sure I was prepared for whatever the weather threw at me.
I decided to go with a layered look. I packed a few light sweaters, a few pairs of jeans, and some comfortable shoes. I also packed a few lightweight jackets and a waterproof coat. I also brought a few hats and scarves to keep me warm and protect me from the wind.
