I’m planning a trip to New York in the summer of 2022 and I’m wondering what to wear. I’m looking for advice on what kind of clothing would be appropriate for the season. I’m not sure if I should bring light and airy clothing, or if I should bring something more substantial. I’m also not sure if I should bring a jacket or a coat. I’m not used to the climate in New York and I want to make sure I’m prepared for whatever the weather throws at me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

New York summers can be hot and humid, so it’s important to dress in light and breathable fabrics. Consider wearing light-colored, loose-fitting clothing like shorts, t-shirts, and sundresses. For shoes, sandals and sneakers are great options. If you plan to be out in the sun, make sure to bring a hat and sunglasses to protect your skin. Layering is also a great way to stay cool, so bring a light cardigan or jacket to throw on if it gets chilly.
