What To Wear In Maine In September

I’m planning a trip to Maine in September and I’m wondering what to wear. I’m looking for advice on clothing that will be comfortable and appropriate for the weather. I’m expecting temperatures to be in the low 70s during the day and in the mid 50s at night. I’m also expecting some rain and wind. I’m looking for advice on what type of clothing to bring that will keep me warm and dry. I’m thinking of bringing a light jacket, a raincoat, and some long pants and a few sweaters. I’m also wondering if I should bring some warm hats and gloves. Any advice on what to wear in Maine in September would be greatly appreciated.

  1. The weather in Maine in September can vary greatly depending on where you are in the state. Generally, the weather is mild and comfortable. Layering is key, as the temperatures can range from the low 50s to the low 80s during the day. A good combination would be a light jacket, a long-sleeved shirt, and a pair of jeans or khakis. For footwear, sneakers or sandals are great options. If you plan to spend time outdoors, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are also recommended.
