I’m planning a trip to Iceland in June and I’m not sure what to wear. I’m looking for advice on what type of clothing and accessories I should bring. I’m hoping to find something that is lightweight but warm, as well as waterproof and windproof. I’m also looking for suggestions on what type of footwear to bring. I’m hoping to find something that will be comfortable and provide good grip on the terrain. I’m also looking for advice on what type of hat, gloves, and scarf to bring, as well as any other items that may be helpful. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
When visiting Iceland in June, you should dress in layers and be prepared for any type of weather. Start with a base layer of lightweight thermal underwear, followed by a thin sweater or fleece. On top of this, wear a waterproof and windproof jacket and trousers. Add a hat, gloves, and a scarf for extra warmth. Wear comfortable waterproof shoes and wool or synthetic socks. Pack a few extra layers in case the weather changes.
