What To Wear In Chicago In September

I’m planning a trip to Chicago in September and I’m wondering what I should wear. I’m looking for advice on what type of clothing would be best for the weather and activities. I’m expecting the temperatures to be in the mid-70s during the day and the low-60s at night. I’m also planning to do some sightseeing, so I want to make sure I’m comfortable. I’m thinking of bringing a light jacket, a few long-sleeved shirts, and some jeans. I also want to bring some shorts in case it gets really hot. I’m looking for advice on what type of shoes to wear too. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  1. Chicago weather in September is usually mild, with temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to the mid-70s. Layering is key, so it’s best to wear lightweight clothing like t-shirts, blouses, and jeans with a lightweight jacket or sweater. For days when the weather is cooler, you can add a heavier coat or jacket. A good pair of boots or sneakers is also recommended.
