What To Wear For A 5K Run In Cold Weather

I’m running my first 5K and I’m not sure what to wear in cold weather. I’m looking for advice on what to wear that will keep me warm and comfortable while running. I know that I need to dress in layers, but I’m not sure which layers are best. I’m also concerned about the fabric I should choose. What type of fabric will keep me warm and dry while running? Any advice on what to wear for a 5K run in cold weather would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
