I’m planning a trip to Springfield, IL and I’m looking for some suggestions on what to do and see. I’m especially interested in any unique attractions or activities that I wouldn’t find in other cities. I’m open to all kinds of ideas, from outdoor activities to cultural experiences. There are a lot of great things to see in Springfield, IL! You can explore the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, take a tour of the historic Lincoln Home, visit the Illinois State Capitol, explore the Dana-Thomas House, and take a stroll through the beautiful Washington Park. You can also visit the Illinois State Museum, the Illinois State Fairgrounds, and the Illinois State Military Museum. There are also plenty of great restaurants and shops in the downtown area.
