I’m planning a trip to Sofia, Bulgaria and I’m wondering what I should see while I’m there. I’m looking for a mix of cultural and historical sites, as well as some modern attractions. I’m hoping to experience the best of what Sofia has to offer. I’m looking for recommendations for places to visit, such as museums, monuments, parks, and other attractions. I’m also interested in learning about the local culture and cuisine. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria and is home to some of the country’s most iconic attractions. Some of the must-see sights in Sofia include the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the National Art Gallery, the National History Museum, the Boyana Church, the National Palace of Culture, and the Vitosha Mountain. Other attractions in Sofia include the Ivan Vazov National Theatre, the Ivan Vazov National Library, the National Museum of Natural History, the National Museum of Military History, and the National Ethnographic Museum. There are also plenty of parks and gardens to explore, such as the Borisova Gradina, the South Park, and the Borisova Garden.
