I’m planning a trip to Savannah, Georgia, and I’m wondering what I should see in one day. I’m looking for the best way to experience the city and get the most out of my trip. I’m hoping to find some hidden gems and get a feel for the city’s culture. I’m also interested in seeing some of the city’s most iconic sights. I’m looking for suggestions on what to do and see in Savannah, Georgia in one day. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
If you only have one day to explore Savannah, you should start your day with a visit to the iconic Forsyth Park. This 30-acre park is home to a beautiful fountain, lush gardens and plenty of green space to explore. Afterward, you can take a walk along the historic River Street, where you can find plenty of shops, restaurants and galleries to explore. If you’re looking for a more cultural experience, you can visit the Telfair Museums, which include the Jepson Center, the Telfair Academy and the Owens-Thomas House. Finally, you can end your day with a stroll through the beautiful squares of Savannah, such as Chippewa Square, Madison Square, and Ellis Square.
