What To See In San Francisco In One Day

I’m visiting San Francisco for the first time and only have one day to explore. I’m looking for suggestions on what to do and see in the city. I’m hoping to get the most out of my day and get a real feel for the city. I’m looking for a mix of touristy and local spots. I’m hoping to find some hidden gems that I wouldn’t find in a guide book. I’m open to anything from cultural activities to outdoor experiences. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
