What To See In Maine In September

I’m planning a trip to Maine in September and I’m looking for some advice on what to see and do. I’m looking for something that will be fun and memorable. I’m hoping to find activities that are unique to the area and that will give me a chance to experience the culture and beauty of Maine. I’m also looking for some great places to eat and stay. I’m open to any suggestions and would love to hear what other people have to say about the best things to do in Maine in September.
