What To See In Georgetown

I’m planning a trip to Georgetown and I’m wondering what I should see while I’m there. I’m looking for some unique experiences that will make my trip memorable. I’m especially interested in exploring the city’s history, culture, and cuisine. I’m hoping to find some interesting places to visit and activities to do. I’m also looking for some great places to eat and shop. I’m hoping to get some recommendations from people who have been to Georgetown and have had some great experiences. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  1. There are a lot of great attractions to explore in Georgetown! The C&O Canal National Historic Park is a great place to start. Here you can explore the historic canal, take a hike along the towpath, or take a boat ride along the Potomac River. The Georgetown Waterfront Park is also a great spot to take in the views of the Potomac River and the Key Bridge. The Georgetown University campus is also worth a visit, with its beautiful architecture and gardens. Finally, the Dumbarton Oaks Museum is a great place to explore the art and gardens of the estate.
