I recently moved to Florida and I’m not sure what to do if I see an alligator. I’m aware that alligators can be dangerous and I want to make sure that I’m taking the right precautions. I’ve heard that the best thing to do is to stay away from them and not attempt to feed them or approach them in any way. I understand that they are protected by law and that it is illegal to kill, harass, or capture them. I also want to make sure that I’m keeping my distance and not putting myself in any danger. I’m looking for advice on what to do if I see an alligator in Florida.
