I’m planning a trip to Costa Rica and I’m wondering what time of year is best to visit. I’m looking for a balance between good weather and fewer tourists. I’m also interested in seeing some of the local wildlife and taking part in some of the outdoor activities that Costa Rica has to offer. I’m hoping to find a time of year that will give me the best chance to experience all that Costa Rica has to offer, while avoiding the crowds. Can anyone provide some advice on the best time of year to visit Costa Rica?

The dry season offers the best combination of sunny weather and low rainfall, making it the ideal time for outdoor activities such as hiking, surfing, and exploring the country’s many national parks.
