I’m looking for advice on what I should wear so that I’m comfortable and look stylish. What should I avoid wearing while I’m in California? I had just moved to California from the Midwest and was excited to explore the culture and fashion of the West Coast. I was quickly overwhelmed by the variety of styles I saw on the streets. I quickly realized that I had to be mindful of what I wore in California.
I quickly learned that flip flops and shorts were the go-to for casual days, but I had to be careful about the shorts. Anything too short or too tight was a no-go. I had to make sure to wear something that was comfortable, but still modest.
I also learned that tank tops and spaghetti straps were a big no-no. Anything too revealing was frowned upon in California. I had to make sure to keep my shoulders and midriff covered.
