What Is The Weather Like In Alaska In August

I’m curious to know what the weather is like in Alaska in August. I’m planning a trip to Alaska in August and I want to make sure I’m prepared for the weather. I’m wondering if it’s usually hot or cold in August? Is it usually sunny or rainy? Are there any extreme weather conditions to be aware of? I’m also interested in what kind of clothing I should bring. Any advice on what to expect would be greatly appreciated.
