I am writing an essay for college applications and I am wondering what colleges are looking for in an essay. I understand that they want to see my writing ability and my ability to communicate my thoughts and ideas. I also understand that they want to get to know me better and learn more about my personality and my values. I want to make sure that I am presenting myself in the best light possible and that I am showing the admissions committee why I am the perfect fit for their college. I am hoping to get some advice on what colleges are looking for in an essay and how I can make sure that I am presenting myself in the best way possible.
