What Did Not Influence The North’S Desire To See Reconstruction Ended In The Late 1870S?

I am trying to understand why the North wanted to see Reconstruction end in the late 1870s. I have read that the North was concerned with the South’s economy, but I’m not sure if that was the only factor. I have also heard that the North was beginning to tire of Reconstruction efforts, but I’m not sure if that was the primary factor. I am looking for an explanation of what other factors may have influenced the North’s desire to see Reconstruction end in the late 1870s. Any insights or information would be greatly appreciated.
