Southwest Airlines How To Use Travel Funds

I recently flew with Southwest Airlines and had to cancel my flight due to a personal emergency. I was issued travel funds for the amount of my ticket and I’m not sure how to use them. I understand that I can use them to purchase a new ticket, but I’m not sure if there are any other ways to use them. Can someone please explain to me how to use my travel funds with Southwest Airlines? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
