I’m visiting Philadelphia for the first time and I’m looking to make the most of my one-day trip. I’m wondering what the must-see places are in the city. I’m interested in seeing historical sites, monuments, and museums, as well as any other attractions that are unique to Philadelphia. I’m also looking for any recommendations for great places to eat. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
If you only have one day to explore Philadelphia, you should definitely visit the Liberty Bell, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Reading Terminal Market. You can also take a stroll down Elfreth’s Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited street in America, or take a walk along the Schuylkill River Trail. If you have some extra time, you can also visit the Eastern State Penitentiary, the Philadelphia Zoo, or the Franklin Institute.
