How To Travel With Two Passports

I’m in a bit of a unique situation. I have two passports, one from my home country and one from another country. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience travelling with two passports and how I should go about it. I’m concerned about which passport I should use when I enter and leave a country, and what I should do if I’m asked to show both passports. I’m also worried about what to do if I’m asked to present a visa for the passport I’m not travelling with. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
