How To Travel With Mashed Potatoes

I’m looking for advice on how to travel with mashed potatoes. I’m going on a road trip and would like to bring some mashed potatoes with me, but I’m not sure how to keep them fresh and safe to eat. Does anyone have any tips for me on how to successfully travel with mashed potatoes? I’d really appreciate any advice you can offer. Thanks!
