How To Travel With A Large Dog On A Plane

I’m looking for advice on how to travel with a large dog on a plane. I’m a bit overwhelmed by the thought of it, as I’ve never done it before. I’m wondering what the best way is to make sure that my dog is comfortable and safe during the flight. What do I need to know before I book a ticket? What kind of carrier should I use? Are there any special requirements that I need to be aware of? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
