How To Travel With A Cat Litter Box

I’m looking for advice on how to travel with a cat litter box. I recently adopted a cat and I’m planning a road trip for the summer. I’m not sure the best way to bring the litter box with me. I’m concerned about the mess and smell that could come from the litter box in the car. I’m also worried about how to dispose of the litter while I’m on the road. What is the best way to travel with a cat litter box? Is there a way to make it easier to manage while I’m on the road? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
