How To Travel Across The Country With A Dog

I’m planning a cross-country trip with my dog and I’m looking for advice on how to make it a safe and enjoyable experience for both of us. I’m wondering what I should consider when preparing for the trip, such as what type of vehicle to use, how to keep my dog comfortable, and what items I should bring along. I’m also interested in learning what the laws are regarding traveling with a pet in different states, and what resources are available to help me plan the trip. Any tips or advice on how to make this a successful journey would be greatly appreciated.
