I have been traveling with ice cream for years now, and I have learned a few tricks along the way. First, I make sure to buy a cooler that is big enough to fit all of the ice cream I am bringing. I like to line the cooler with a few layers of newspaper to help insulate the ice cream and keep it cold. I then fill the cooler with ice and place the ice cream on top. I make sure to wrap each container of ice cream individually in plastic wrap to help keep it from melting. I also like to put a few extra layers of newspaper between each container of ice cream. Finally, I place a lid on the cooler and secure it with a few rubber bands. This helps keep the cold air inside and prevents any melting from occurring.
