How To Drain Fresh Water Tank On Travel Trailer

I’m having trouble draining the fresh water tank on my travel trailer. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong and I’m hoping someone can help me out. I’ve looked online and in the manual, but I’m still having trouble. I’ve tried to open the drain valve and the water won’t come out. I’ve also tried to disconnect the hose from the tank and nothing happens. I’m not sure what else to do and I’m hoping someone can help me out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
