How To Become Travel Journalist

I’m looking to become a travel journalist and I’m not sure where to start. I’m an experienced writer with a background in journalism, but I’m looking for advice on how to break into travel writing. I’m wondering what the best way to get started is. How do I find the right publications to write for? What kind of stories should I be looking to write? What kind of research should I be doing to make sure I’m properly prepared for the job? Any advice or tips on how to become a travel journalist would be greatly appreciated.
