How To Avoid Verizon Travel Pass Charges

I’m planning a trip abroad and am trying to figure out how to avoid Verizon Travel Pass charges. I know that I can use Wi-Fi in certain places, but I also need to be able to use my phone for calls and texts. Is there any way to avoid the Verizon Travel Pass charges? Are there any other options for me to use my phone while abroad without incurring extra charges? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  1. I recently found out the hard way how to avoid Verizon Travel Pass charges. I was traveling abroad and had my phone with me, but I didn’t realize that I had to activate the Travel Pass in order to use my phone while I was away. I ended up with a huge bill when I got back home.

Now I always make sure to activate the Travel Pass before I leave. It’s easy to do, and it’s much cheaper than the charges I got stuck with before. All I have to do is go to the Verizon website, log in to my account, and select the Travel Pass option. I can choose the country I’m visiting and the length of my trip, and then I’m all set.

It’s also a good idea to check the rates for the countries I’m visiting so I know what I’m getting into. That way, I can budget for the cost of using my phone while I’m away and avoid any surprise charges.
