I’m curious about how sound travels from its source to my ear. I understand that sound is made up of vibrations that travel through the air and reach my ear. But I’m wondering how these vibrations actually travel from the source to my ear. Is it a direct line from the source to my ear, or do the vibrations bounce off of other objects in the environment before reaching my ear? I’m also curious about how the vibrations change as they travel from the source to my ear. Does the speed of the vibrations change? Does the pitch change? I’m hoping to get some answers to these questions so that I can better understand how sound travels from its source to my ear.
