How Long Would It Take To Travel The Silk Road

I’m planning a trip and I’m curious to know how long it would take to travel the Silk Road. I’m aware that the Silk Road is a network of ancient trade routes that connected the East and West, and I’m interested in seeing the historic sites and experiencing the culture along the way. I’m wondering if anyone has done this before and can provide me with an estimate of how long it would take to complete the journey. I’m also interested in knowing what the best route would be and what I should expect along the way. Any advice or tips you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
