What To See In Washington

I’m planning a trip to Washington DC and I’m wondering what I should see while I’m there. I’m looking for a mix of historical sites, monuments, and other attractions that will give me a well-rounded experience of the city. I’m interested in seeing the White House, the Capitol Building, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, and the Smithsonian Museums. I’d also like to visit the National Mall, the National Zoo, the National Gallery of Art, and the National Archives. I’m hoping to get some recommendations on other places to visit that will give me a unique insight into the city.
