What To Wear To Funeral In Summer

I am attending a funeral in the summer and I’m not sure what to wear. I want to look respectful and appropriate, but also stay cool in the heat. I’m thinking of wearing a light colored dress or skirt with a blouse, but I’m not sure if that’s too casual. Is there a certain type of clothing that is more appropriate for a funeral in the summer? I’d also appreciate any other tips or advice that you may have. Thank you for your help.
