What To Do If You See A Coyote In Your Neighborhood

I recently saw a coyote in my neighborhood and I’m not sure what to do. I’m concerned about the safety of my family, pets, and neighbors. I’m wondering what the best course of action is. Should I call animal control? Should I try to scare it away? Should I just leave it alone? I’m not sure what to do and I’m hoping to get some advice on how to handle this situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
