What To Wear To A Wake In The Summer

I’m attending a wake in the summer and I’m not sure what to wear. I want to look respectful and appropriate, but I also want to be comfortable in the hot weather. I’m considering wearing a long-sleeved dress shirt and dress pants, but I’m worried that I’ll be too hot. I’m also considering wearing a polo shirt and khaki pants, but I’m concerned that this may be too casual. What do you think would be the best option for me to wear to a wake in the summer?
