What To Wear In The Desert

I’m going on a trip to the desert and I’m not sure what to wear. I’m looking for something that will keep me cool in the heat, but also protect me from the sun and sand. I’m thinking a lightweight, breathable fabric would be best, but I’m not sure what type of material would be best. I’m also wondering if I should wear a hat and sunglasses to protect myself from the sun. I’m looking for advice on what to wear in the desert to stay comfortable and safe.
