What To Wear On An Alaskan Cruise In Aug

I’m planning a cruise to Alaska in August and I’m not sure what to wear. I know it’s going to be cold, but I don’t want to be too bundled up. I’m looking for advice on what type of clothing I should bring. I’m thinking of bringing a few layers of clothing, including a light jacket, a sweater, and a scarf. I’m also considering wearing a hat and gloves. I’m wondering if I should bring rain gear and if I should bring any special shoes. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
