I’m looking for advice on what to wear for horseback riding in the summer. I’m a beginner and want to make sure I’m dressed appropriately. I’m aware that I’ll need a helmet, but I’m unsure of what other clothing items I should wear. I’m concerned about staying cool while still being safe and comfortable. I’m also wondering what type of shoes I should wear. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It was a hot summer day and I was getting ready for my horseback riding lesson. I was so excited, I had been looking forward to this for weeks. I wanted to make sure I was dressed appropriately for the occasion. I chose to wear a pair of jeans, a long-sleeved shirt and a riding helmet. I also wore a pair of riding boots, which I had bought specifically for this occasion. I was careful to make sure my clothing was comfortable and breathable, as I knew I would be spending a lot of time in the saddle.
When I arrived at the stable, I was greeted by my instructor who showed me around and explained the basics of horseback riding. I was so excited to get started, I could hardly contain my enthusiasm.
