It’s summertime and I’m trying to figure out what to wear to work. I want to look professional, but also be comfortable in the heat. I start with a breathable, light-colored blouse and a pair of loose-fitting trousers. I add a pair of leather flats and a lightweight cardigan for when the office air conditioning is too cold. I finish the look with a few pieces of jewelry and a bright scarf to add a bit of color.
I’m ready to go, but I remember the summer heat outside. I grab a pair of sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat to protect my face from the sun. I also grab a lightweight tote bag to carry my laptop and other essentials.
